I just wrote about the same subject a minute ago, here's the link:

I'll just add that some have posted that phenols/salicylates are

located mostly in the peels of fruit and vegetables. So peeling (

and some double peel) will remove most. Cooking the fruits and

vegetables make them even easier to digest - which is what is

suggested at the beginning of the diet anyway.

Thanks Sheila, and for other people who responded.

Yes, Macadamia Nuts and pecans are OK with both Feigold and SCD. I

also checked with Feigold association and they told me the Hazelnuts

and walnuts are OK as well.
