Guest guest
Hi! So far as I know, Dry Curd Cottage Cheese (DCCC) isn't available in the UK, but you might check with the Yahoo Group SCDUK and see if anything's changed. Up until last week, I wasn't able to get DCCC here in Louisiana, and then discovered that a Fresh Market in Covington (50 miles away) carried the Friendship Dairy Farmer's Cheese, which is DCCC. I snatched up a bunch and brought it home, and now the entirety of the freezer of my 4.8 cubic foot dorm fridge is full of DCCC. What I've used for the last four years is well-dripped yogurt cheese. Make the SCD yogurt and drip or drain it (I remove about 4 cups of liquid for each half gallon of yogurt) and then use it the same way you'd use DCCC. -- Marilyn Alm New Orleans, Louisiana, USA
