The " intro " only lasts a few days. We must make our own nut milk. See recipe on

this page.

Commercial brands are

not suitable.

2. She doesn't have diarrhea but has constipation.

It's just thre reverse side of the coin. Cooked fruits and evegtables will help

and later nuts

as they have fiber.

2 or 3 days should be enough but it is advisable to do the Into Diet.

Yogurt is not started right away. What you may be thinking of is Dry Curd

Cottage Cheese.

>Will it cause a massive die-off?

It may.

The home made apple juice will be OK later on. Some juicers process with skin on

like the

Omega 8002. What kind do you have? (Fresh pressed apple cider with nothing

added can

be used later too.)

You can eat the chicken and the veggies used in the soup.

Carol,

Thank you so much for your reply.

I have a few more questions:

1. If nut milk and fresh home made apple juice (processed with skin

on) is acceptable on later on, after intro diet, what could I let my

daughter drink besides water? She doesn't like water.

2. Where could I get dry curd cottage cheese?

3. I have the Jack Lalanne's power juicer which can process apple

juice with skin on. Is apple skin ok for the diet? Is it phenol?

Diluted allowable juices: Welch's grape, purple or white in the bottle, not

frozen in tins

Tropicana fresh orange no calcium added version, Dole Pieapple, 's or H

Where do you live? Check with a local dairy.

Homemade apple juice is allowed but dilute it. Does the juicer separate the

skins. My

Omega 8002 does that. if not someone else should answer that question.

Personally if

unsure, I would peel the apples.

Legal local apple cider (as descibed in the book BTVC in the

appendix " The Juice Dilemma " )is also acceptable for the intro and

after. It should be diluted at least half water, half juice like

*all* juices.

Apple skin is okay when doing well. At the beginning you want to

avoid peels . Yes, the peels are phenolic, so peeling before

juicing will reduce your phenol load.

Thank you so much for your help.

I think I will give her diluted apple juice (home made), juiced

without the skin.
