I can hardly believe it is two weeks away. Where are you from? I am right here in NC. My boyfriend lives in Durham, and I live in Southern Pines. Have you gone to the clinic yet? Where are you going to be staying? I am hoping to be able to come home to Southern Pines the day after surgery. It's about 70 miles from Durham. I would stay at my BF's house, but you know how you want all the " comforts of home " . . . . > > Look forward to meeting you and " crossing to the other side! Guest guest
e, Where I used to work we hired a Sumo Wrestling company that came to the office and had thick floor mats and two padded fat Sumo suits. All the athletic people took turns and " wrestled " each other. Actually all they did was fall down and roll on the mats alot. It was really fun to watch. It was supposed to be a team building exercise. I never tried it because I was afraid I would never fit into the Sumo suit. Hey Flo, there's another thing I won't ever have to worry about again, fitting into Sumo suits! Anyway, maybe I should go to Japan and make some extra money as a Sumo wrestler before I lose this extra weight. That is certainly an idea. Hee...Hee.... My boyfriend (Isaac) and my mom (Allie) will be there with me and my room will be listed as e (I am hoping for the pediatric ward and that wonderful nurse named Jeff everyone talks about!!). If you find me then I can tell you what everything is like, as a POST- OP!! > > It is strange, but I woke up this morning and I feel a real sense of peace, coupled with excitement, and my anxiety is gone! I guess I am mentally " ready " now, and I feel ready to get this behind me and be " on the other side. " Now, tomorrow morning right before the surgery I realize things can change!! But, I do think I am ready and as mentally prepared as I can be for the surgery. > > Also, I want to talk to you about town -- Bladen County -- I have some ties there, too. > > As for the supplements, yes I have already bought everything except the prescription meds, which I will make Isaac get for me tomorrow!! :-) I got everything (even the optional stuff) because I really want to do this right, and I want to do everything Dr. R recommends for the best and speediest results. It was a lot of money spent at GNC, but I figured, heck, I'll be saving at least that much on groceries!! Also, hopefully you got the Gold Card which gets you 20% off. They also have a women's multi-vitamin that I like a lot, and that is what I will continue taking after surgery. I am also going to try to stay on the liquids for the time period that Dr. R recommends. > > I am on my way now to the store to get some juices and broth, so my mom won't have to run out and do that once we return home. > > I look forward to meeting you, Missy! > > Best / e > MGB 5/25/00 (tomorrow!!!!!!) > > >
