Blessings ~Amy _____________________________________________ Amy S. Poe MGB 5/22/2000 280/140 United Healthcare Select Plus POS approved Drunk Driver Hi! I know I haven't been posting much lately but I have still been reading. Just wanted to share with you that I lost a lifelong family friend Tuesday. SHe was walking with 2 other friends after playing tennis and a drunk driver hit another car and it plowed into them killing my friend. She was 39 and loved by all in the community. One of the other girls hit was also a friend and her pelvis seperated 6 inches and has been going through surgery. It will be a year before she walks again. She is an avid tennis player with 3 kids all under the age of 12. This is such a tragedy. This guy had 3 previous DUI's and was still on the street. All prayers are greatly appreciated. Thanks. Guest guest
Doesn't that just make you madder than H*ll???? They can have all the laws on the books, but it doesn't stop the drunks from breaking the law. I am so sorry you lost your lifelong friend, and hope they can nail this guy to the wall. My prayers to you and the victim's families of this senseless tragedy. fg At 08:50 AM 05/19/2000 EDT, you wrote: >Hi! Guest guest
Hi Holly... I am so sorry to hear about your friends.. Please know that you and their families are all in my prayers.. There is ABSOLUTELY NO excuse for drunk driving.. I was taught if you even have one SIP of anything, you don't drive.. This man should NEVER have been on the road.. I hope he gets the maximum penalty for it.. Unfortunately, if it's not a death sentence, it's not enough... In my thoughts and prayers, Terri > Hi! Guest guest
This is such a SENSELESS Tragedy. I am so sorry for you and the victims of this CRIME. Please everyone pray for his forgiveness from GOD as his sits in his prison cell .Throwing the book at him is not enough.Even if he has kids to support(what kind of example are we setting for this to let a criminal like this run the streets and SIDEWALks.....geez) ............it is not enough to slap him on the back and let him have the opportunity to do this again. I am sure he will just try to " drink away " his problems and hurt others if not locked up. Please if possible give us the name of the judge who let him off the LAST time. I want to write him or her a personal letter. I am web only so mark it " drunk driver/judge " in " subject " so I will see it when I scan it. Also when you find out who will be hearing the NEXT trial...ie regarding this current CRIME....I want that judges name too. Oxford,Ohio In MiniGastricBypass (AT) e, happygirl0925@a... wrote: > Hi!
