Guest guest
Yes. Well, we'll have a head start due to going to see the ped. GI and getting the scopes and blood tests. She needs to get cleaned out and then the procedures. Using secretin. Hoping to find something as we have been battling for 4 years and just want whatever is wrong fixed now so she will start talking and stop reacting to foods so much. Thanks. I will give the yogurt at mealtime and the charcoal in the evening. maybe she'll wake up refreshed and calm ready to start the day at school right:). The doc and I are also discussing using enzymes. I hope everything works out. We leave Thurs. @ 3am for the 5 hour one way trip. Anxious. Guest guest
The epsom salts baths are now working a little bit and I have not tried the activated charcoal yet. I will though. We just got back from Boston to see a ped. GI Dr. for K. He said K has pinworms and esophagitis. He wants us to use VERMOX for her but, there's got to be a less toxic way of zapping them. I am embarassed but, at least we are figuring out what is wrong so we can help make it right again. I think the hyperactivity is due to the worms. She has quite an infestation. Do you know of anything we can do? I believe our whole family needs to be treated. Thanks for asking about K. Guest guest
I think scd was killing them off because she became much less hyper for a few months following starting the diet. I mean at first she was hyper but, then she settled right down and was learning at school. I think her recent food infractions caused the worms and maybe the yeast to grow back again. This is upsetting because of the regression it has brought. I'm afraid that this med. VERMOX is highly toxic to the body and we have been trying to detox her through choosing organic, free-range foods, this diet etc. The worms are supposably harmless. Do you know anyone that has gotten rid of them? Thanks. Guest guest
How does one know if one has pinworms? Guest guest
Black Walnut extract is supposed to kill worms. They'll proabably be able to help at your local health food store.
