AAAAAAW!!!!!!!!!!!!! Don't get soft on me. Geez, I've got a million

things to do and I don't know where to start. I need to buy all my

supplements, make hotel reservations, pack. Do you remember the name of that

hotel that was 15 or so minutes from the hospital and cost under $300 a week?

I want to check them out.

Duke Towers is the one that is $65 a night. The one I'm thinking of is like $275

a week.

I'm curious about the neighborhood and the bed. I also want a refrigerator. I'm

going to look at the pre-op list on the website for instructions, I'll let you

know what I find out.

Dear Genz,

I am ready for this, the sooner the better. I would love to have this on the 2nd

with you. That would be perfect. I am working under a deadline here. My

daughter graduates from High School on June 9. So, I have to be able to have

the surgery and be back home by then. If that is not possible I will have to

wait until July and I don't want to do that. On well, everything has fallen in

line so far, so I'm sure this will also. I am just so excited!

You're right, everything will fall into place. But even on the 2nd, I think

you'll do fine. I had my surgery Last!! (here we go again!) on 4/10/00. My

surgery was between 5 and 5:30 monday evening. I was out of the hospital by

noon on tuesday, and by 11:30am wednesday, I was on a plane back home to

Ohio. I really felt fine. It was around the last part of the 2nd week,

maybe the 3rd week, I did get tired easy. It lasted about a week. You could

have your surgery, and then be sitting at the graduation thinking, Did I even

have this surgery? At first that was a hard one, because I felt fine.

Genz,

You know how it goes. I had promised myself that I would be " normal " by the

time she

graduated. As usual no occassion was enough to get me to that point. I went

shopping also today. It was so much fun. I kept saying, " I won't have to do

....

anymore after surgery. Like use the handicap bathroom, feel quilty passing the

metabolife kiosk, feel conspicuous at the food court, you know just the usual

stuff.

I am really psyched for this. Can you tell?
