Genz,

This was posted awhile ago by Stevie and I kept it for future reference.

Maybe it will help nudge your memory of where you want to stay that costs

$275/wk.

Here is the info about hotels:

Hotels:

try the website: www.durham-nc.com for a complete listing and to have a

free guide to Durham mailed to you. (Has maps, etc)

You are responsible for booking your own place to stay.

There is no specific hotel for MGBers as many like different types of

places.

The website above lists them and includes prices.

For the least expensive hotels (standard rooms), try places like Red

Roof inns, Innkeeper, Forest at Duke, s, Fairfield Inn or

a suites place for an average of $200-300 a week..Cheapest are Studio

Plus and then Extended Stay America.

I set up special rates for MGBers at Duke Towers ($65 a night) for a one

bedroom apartment style place, and $70 a night for Homewood Suites at

Mt. moriah Roa(another 2 room suite place with pool, free food and nice

place overall)

It's up to you where you want to go and what you can afford.

Ask if you have a question, but make it specific or else people won't

likely respond . :)

Dear Fluff Mama,

That's a good idea. I know I've read where some of the previous

post-ops have stayed at the one I'm thinking of. In fact I believe

is staying there now.

Bye,

One week. You will get a follow up appointment when you leave hospital.

Once he sees you for that then you may leave and go home. Most Pre-ops have

decided to stay at Duke Towers. The longer you stay the less the nightly

room rate is. Starts at I believe $75.00 and goes down to $60.00. Hope this

helps.

When I get my surgery planned. How long should I plan to stay in the area?

I'm coming from Tulsa?
