Guest guest
Tami (and all who wonder about SCD-friendly supplements), I'm saying it again, and can't say it loudly enough: CALL KIRKMAN'S!!! Elaine worked with them before her death and they have a line of SCD supplements and will NOT let you choose a non-SCD supplement just for the sale. Kirkman's is not just a supplement business; it came about specifically to help people naturally with autism and they're well aware of their mission. My daughter is on their calcium supplement she took pre-SCD--Calcium powder with no additives. We mix it with juice in a medicine cup, then pour it into an oral syringe to give to her. And no, I have no $ interest in Kirkman's. I'm in GA, they're in Oregon; but they know me when I call because I've unfortunately dropped so many thousands of dollars there over the years! :-) Seriously, ask them any questions you have, about ingredients, administering to an uncooperative child, storage of the supplement, etc. They've spoken to hundreds (maybe thousands?) of parents with kids with autism, so they have a lot of information that may be helpful. If you want specific info about ingredients or something scientific, they'll put you right on the phone with one of the scientists there that develop product. They're very cool!
