I am new to the SCD diet and wondering if anyone uses this diet in a

dairy-free form.

I have three boys, two of which have ASD. I have been dairy free and

organic for about a year and have seen a tremendous improvement.

However, there are still enough problems that make me think I need to

do more so I would like to try the SCD diet.

However, I am concerned about re-introducing dairy because I think it

is really wrong for my kids.

So- if anyone does this diet and eliminates dairy from the diet-

please let me know and give me some pointers if you have some good

ones.

I would try GF/CF diet, but I have heard of too many kids that it has

not worked for.

Thanks!

Dairy is optional. not mandatory but the goat yogurt has been found to be very

helpful.

many who had concerns about dairy tried it very cautiously and found they could

tolerate

it.

Sara,

Dairy is not required.

Please see the pecanbread.com website. 90%+ of the recipes there are

dairy free. A dairy-free version of the intro diet can be found there

as well.

Welcome to the list!
