You are right that she needs to be complimented too! Our relationship is

nothing short of miraculas, it's been built on a lot of prayer and sweat and

compromise. Our relationship isn't always perfect, but I know that in an

emergency she is there for and loves him. As she puts it, " life is too

short " , and I remind myself that through my stepchildren, she and I are

family. I was very blessed to have a friend from high school whose parents

were divorced and remarried. Despite their differences, they all made the

effort to be friendly at family gatherings. I will never forget my friend's

wedding rehearsal when her stepmom started to sit in the row behind her mom

and dad and her mom told her she belonged next to her husband. They were a

great witness for me and I've tried in my marriage to follow their examples.

God is so good to me and has blessed and protected me my whole life. I do

little to deserve it, but His Grace is always there for me waiting like a

giant gift for me to open!

It's really good to be home!
