You will not believe > what a difference 6 months can make in your life! WOW! What an amazing story. Thanks for sharing it with all of us. I hope in 6 months I can report the same progress. My wl is starting off so slowly, that I just don't know about the numbers. I am trying to let go and remember there is nothing else I can do but exercise and drink! WAY TO GO!!! Safe journey, >> Hi , Thanks for your post! Please don't worry about losing slowly. Ya know whats kinda funny is that before when I dieted with friends everyone always lost ALOT faster than me and I was always the one to stick to it whole heartedly. I will forever believe that it was my metabolism and the bypass was what did the trick. I eat almost now what I did before so it has to be something!. I did concentrate on protein especially the first several months, but now I eat everything. Just don't beat yourself up this early in the game.........many people start off slow and still are at Dr R's average loss at 6 months. Sometimes our bodies just want to hang on for a while!! Maybe your hair won't fall out like mine!! LOL And by the way, I'm not proud of this but I didn't start exercising until after 2 months. With surgery being at Thanksgiving, I was so busy around all the holidays that I didn't have the time!! What an excuse, I know. I guess I really didn't feel like it until I had dropped 40 pounds and could carry myself around! Best of luck to you ! in Raleigh
