Guest guest
, When I worked on the psych unit at our hospital the psychiatrist would advise our patients taking Depakote (which can cause major hair thinning) to take a supplement called Selenium. Well, I'm not taking Depakote, but I had noticed over the last couple of years that the drain seemed to have a little more hair in it than I liked. So.... I went to good old Wal-mart and picked up a bottle. I have taken a capsule(200 mg each) twice a day for the last 6 months and have noticed that the drain (and the brush) don't claim as much of my hair anymore. Just a thought. Check with Dr. R first just in case it could interact with the malabsorbtion or one of the other supplements.
