Genz,

I use Outlook Express - I also get some repetitive messages, but when I have

messages I want to save, I create files in my Inbox (not trash) - I have MGB

info with subfiles for other info etc. I also have folders for my OSSG No

Calif and my OSSG recipes broken down by several categories.

You can set up a file info and move emails from Trash into the appropriate

folder. You really need to empty the trash periodically to keep the speed up.

If I didn't make sense, just email me @

Genz, the most I've seen them come through lately is 3 times. And not on

everybody, just a few. It could be onelise/egroups, but it could be the

individual's server. As far as saving information, you could go through all

the old posts and copy/paste the information you would like to keep and put

it in a word processor like Works, Wordperfect or MS Word, whichever your

puter has. That way you wouldn't have to print until you got pages

full--without all the bull such as email headers, etc. Most of the time, I

keep things that are read that I want to keep in the inbox until I have the

time to deal with them. Putting them in the trash is too risky. :-)

I thought maybe it was caused by someone set on digest trying to

Dear Shari,

Thanks for the help. I don't know how to set up files yet but I'm trying

to learn. I know my computer is gasping for some memory relief. I have almost

5000 pieces in the trash bin and that's after I emptied about 1000. That by the

way is less than one months

worth of posts. The sheer volume is unbelievable but fun.

The funny thing is, this is my son-in-laws computer and he is asking me for

permission to use it. Everytime he walks by and sees me sitting here he just

shakes his head and grins. He is such a sweetheart. He said " I think I'm just

going to give you that computer and buy me a new one " . With

four adults in this house we need four computers and four internet

hook ups. Oh well.........

Thanks,

Genz
