I have not had the operation but was considering it. In doing my research.

however, I discovered that the MGB is not a new operation -- It is the same

as the Billroth II only it is done laprascopically. If anyone out there is

considering the MGB, they should research the long term results of the

Billroth II loop before making their final decision.

Again the MGB is not a new procedure -- the only thing new about it is that

Dr. R is doing it laprascopically!

Dear Edvi, I know the Billroth is not new because my GYN told me her

grandfather had it done years ago because of ulcers or something; however, I

have not been able to locate any billroth sites, do you know of any? Liz
