Oh Liz...as I read that I shed tears...thank you sweetie. I never in my

life have felt as I do these days! Thank you so much. Funny that you

mention the butterfly...that is my next tattoo and my last. I am having a

beautiful butterfly tattooed on my right shoulder blade in July. It is a

symbol of my emerging from the cacoon that I forever have lived in. Thanks

to Dr R for helping me spread my wings!

That brings tears to my eyes. I am so happy for you. You deserve that

butterfly badge. Wear it with pride. Everytime someone asks you about it,

you tell them your story. If they are obese, you help set them free. In

God's love,

Liz in land

, My mother is having surgery with Dr. Rutledge on the 25th of May. She

is 71 years old. She is very excited about it. She will be at the clinic on

the 23rd of May. I had surgery with my 16 year old daughter on Dec. 20th,

1999. I wish you the best of luck with your surgery I know you will do great.

Hello Liz,

Thank you for you kind words. 86lbs...........WOW!!!!!!. 30 lbs to your

goal, how wonderful is that huh? When did you have your surgery?

I was in Groton once & New London a few times. Ct is pretty nice. I have

friends in Manchester & East Hartford that come down to the Outer Banks,

(Cape Hateras), NC for their vacation every year (it's about 12 hour drive

from CT). This year, I'm hoping when I go out there to see them, I'll be a

thinner version than when they saw me last which was just last month for my

father's funeral in Boston area.

I confided in them, that I was planning on having this surgery. At first, I

think they were shocked, but then realized how important it is to me. So

now they are very supportive.

Sorry if I am ramblin on and on, but I am thrilled to hear of your success

story!

(((hugs)))

Dear Liz,

Your family must surely get an award for the youngest and oldest MGB

patients.Ya'll need to be on Oprah. I think that is wonderful. I'm so glad you

and your family were able to find a way to end the obesity. I would love for my

26 year old daughter to have the surgery too. I think she probably will after

her

next baby. God bless each of you and good luck to your mom.

Love,

Genz
