Guest guest
You'll need to read these links.....they are in the website, but in the smaller print towards the bottom of the left hand margin. http://clos.net/mgb_vs_rny01.htm http://clos.net/mgb_vs_rny02.htm http://clos.net/mgb_vs_rny03.htm At 06:50 PM 05/19/2000 -0000, you wrote: >Hello MGB Gang, > >I am curious about how many people have had an RNY redone into MGB or >are thinking of a redo. > >Would anyone be willing to tell me how long ago you had RNY and what >went wrong and why you are thinking about or had MGB. Guest guest
I've read all of Dr. R's stuff, but I can't find independent substantiation. Dr.R produced these figures and I was looking for something a bit more unbiased to back up Dr. R's claims. I guess I won't find it since MGB is so new and unpublished. But I was a little concerned that BillRoth II was not choice of weight loss surgeons. If you look real close at the doctor's research on Billroth II it does not say that it is the most frequently chosen surgery for WLS only that it is chosen more times for gastric surgery, of which there are many. Also, nowhere on the ASBS web page do they ever talk about Billroth II. Anyway I will continue to seek information. > >Hello MGB Gang, > > > >I am curious about how many people have had an RNY redone into MGB or > >are thinking of a redo. > > > >Would anyone be willing to tell me how long ago you had RNY and what > >went wrong and why you are thinking about or had MGB.
