Guest guest
Darci, SCD should NOT be a low carb diet. There are plenty of SCD allowed foods that provide adequate carbs. The problem comes in when people either cannot or will not feed their child fruit. Without any fruits, SCD will be very difficult to manage in a healthy way. Kids needs carbs for energy. I don't know why anyone would be having blood draws because of being on SCD. Drugs like Diflucan can affect the liver and blood tests are drawn for that.
