Hi a,

I never heard Elaine discuss this book. I vaguely remember that the

theory was formulated by the author's father a long time ago before

they had too many toxins. Please correct me if I am wrong.

The number of children with bowel problems and/or ASD has increased

dramatically. Something else besides blood type or heredity is causing

this:toxins are the culprit, they inhibit the enzymes that digest starch.

A long time ago, there might have been a possibility that blood types

would have given us clues but today we are so contaminated with toxins

that we have to pay attention to the damage caused by heavy metals.

Most ASD children get results with SCD if the diet is done correctly.

Parents who are not getting good results should examine if their kids

are sneaking food. An important resource is SCD counseling. So many

parents who claim that they are doing the diet 100% are making

mistakes. I also made mistakes in the beginning: gave my kids

plantains(SCD illegal!).
