Guest guest
Thank you , your information was very helpful. Thanks for taking the time to post what you learned from looking into other procedures as well as the MGB. I usually " go with the gut " and my gut feeling was that this was best for me. So it's good to hear that even though I didn't do any research, the conclusion I reached was sound. I will generally go with the human side of things. I like a human being who is extremely competent yet not arrogant. Dr. Rutledge sure seems to fit that bill from what I have read and heard from his patients (although I have never met him). Guest guest
, The reason he hasn't shared these statistics is because there are none. He's only been doing this procedure 2 1/2 - 3 yrs. I believe he started doing the MGB sometime in 1997. Guest guest
, As ususal I admire how you write and what you say. I cound not agree more, for me it is a little opposite. Dr. M will do Lap, or open is is the patients choice. It would cost me more to go to Dr. R, travel time and expenses, then to stay here, 1/2 hour away and my insurance will pay almost 100% for here. I have not decided yet, I agree, I have found the best info on this list. You are in my prayers. Robynn

Guest guest
When you can stay close to home and go to a well-qualified doc, sounds like an easy choice, Robynn! Dr. Marema has high standards and a good track record and his patients love him. Keep us posted!! Hugs! > , > As ususal I admire how you write and what you say.
