Guest guest
How long did you take phen/fen? I only took it about a month but I have been having some pain n my chest under my left breast for a couple of weeks now. Not sharp pains but almost like a muscle strain. It is worse at night when I am sitting watching TV than during the day. Any nurses out there have any ideas? I think I should get checked out to...I was starting to worry it was my heart...because of my weight but never figured in the phen/fen...but I don't know if a month was long enough to do any damage. (I hope not!) Holly preop hopeful for late July or August
Guest guest
The reason I was worried is because if it were a muscle pulled then wouldn't it hurt all day? My sister told me that with heart problems, they can act up more when you are t rest. (which would be my evening in front of tv...or computer..lol) I don't have a doctor here cause I have only lived here in Sarasota since October (and will only be living here 3 more weeks) and haven't needed one for anything but I will find someone to call. Thanks!

It does not sound like anything more than muscle pull, but let the doctor make that determination. I also took Phen Fen for 6 months with no adverse effects. Most people as they get older get some cardiac regurg, but those with excessive problems are in litigation with a law suit. Guest guest
Holly, I took these drugs for several months. It would be wise to have it checked out. The payout matrix also addresses people that used the drugs for less than 60 days. I have heart " flutters " and sometimes they take my breath away. I have also been experiencing some achy pain under my left breast and armpit. My PCP said he thinks my pain is caused from the weight of my breasts, which does not surprise me. Other than what I have mentioned I'm pretty much symptom free. Like I said before, it's not a money thing......money isn't important when it involves your health. Obviously the drug manufacturer thinks a month is long enough for damage to occur because they are volunteering to pay money to those users. Good luck to you, I pray you have no damage. Guest guest
Mine definitely isn't the weight of my breasts causing the pain. I may be big but I was always a little perturbed those weren't bigger! LOL!
