Guest guest
You need Adobe reader. It is a free down load. I think there is a link to download Adobe from the manual's page. It is Adobe 4.0. Download and install that then you should have no problems reading the manual. Just a word of caution, when printing off the manual (once you open it)...mine hung up on page 11 I think, the page with the graphics of the rny and lapband. I had to fiddle with the print job (only sending that page to the printer, then sending a few more pages. etc) to get it to print on my laser printer. > I hope some computer literate person can help me. I have downloaded the newest version of the manual (my original one was mailed to me) to my hard drive. When asked " what program do you want this associated with (or something like that) " , I didn't know, but picked MS Word. Now I can't print it. When I open it up in Word, it looks like gibberish on the screen. It shows as an icon on my desktop. > > How can I print out the manual? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks a bunch!! > > P. in GA > > >
Guest guest
You need Adobe Acrobat Reader to open this document as it is in PDF format. It can be downloaded for free at: http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep.html Dave in NC > I hope some computer literate person can help me. Guest guest
Thanks, Caldwell and Pookie the Bear(whose name is also , I believe), for responding to my request for help. I have downloaded the manual and printed it. My old one I got last Sept. or Oct. I want to start on my letter soon. My problem was that I thought I already had Adobe Acrobat on my computer, but obviously not. Thanks, again. P. in GA Re: HELP! ? re: printing the manual You need Adobe reader. It is a free down load.
