Guest guest
Does anyone know if goat yogurt could cause constipation (2 heaping TBLs a day). My son has been doing well on SCD since February. BM's were like clock work until about 2 weeks ago when I started him again on goat yogurt after about a 2 month break. We have tried prune juice, lots of vit. C, more cooked veggies and less meat, but there is still an obstruction. Could it be from too many raw peeled apples. Sometimes he will eat 4 in a day. It's very hard to keep him away from them. Any suggestions will be appreciated. , Jordan 14, SCD since Feb.

Are his stools dry, small amounts... Has he had obstructions in the past? The raw veggies may make it worse (getting plugged up) Sheila, SCD 55 mos, 21 yrs UC mom of , SCD 40 mos

Guest guest
will she eat baked apples? sheila suggested this to me as kai point blank refuses to eat the pureed apples and pear but will happily eat pear baked with a little butter and a tiny amount of honey due to his texture problems - you dont have to use honey or butter, thats just a personal thing hth emma Jim & Jennie jlessard@...> wrote: Did you say raw apples cause your son constipation? I believe the raw apples could have been what caused the plug because he doesn't chew them well. It wasn't raw veggies because he won't eat them. Things seem to be normal now but I am always guessing because his BM's are done at school. His teachers are great about giving me a daily BM report but let's face it, they don't have a PHD in BM like the rest of us. I'm just glad it wasn't the yogurt because it really is helping keep the yeast in balance. > > Thanks, > > > > >Hi , > > > >> Does anyone know if goat yogurt could cause constipation (2 > >heaping TBLs? a day).? Guest guest
Emma, Is the consistency of the baked apples hard, soft like pureed or...? Sheila was the one who told me that I should try to put cooked zucchini little by little into her peanut butter muffins. She must have a picky eater at home? LOL! Thanks and please respond. Guest guest
um its not like pureed, its sort of a very very ripe texture but without the total squishiness - kai demolishes them this way (thank you sheila!!) and will now happily have a whole apple and pear during the day and still ask for more - he has severe dyspraxia as well as asd so has major oral and texture issues hth emma Jim & Jennie jlessard@...> wrote: Emma, Is the consistency of the baked apples hard, soft like pureed or...?
