Guest guest
Hi, Update on today's surgery schedule: We did 8 cases today and all were 32 minutes or less. The new " record " is 26 minutes and 45 seconds (someone in the room had one of those digital watches) The patient with the shortest time had her sister in law come with her to support her in the surgery. Her Sister-in-law is a nurse and a former OR nurse. She specifically told me not to rush. So I had to apologize to her for finishing so quickly. Oh well... Anyway at last check everyone seems to be doing fine. RR Rutledge, M.D., F.A.C.S. Guest guest
Dr R, This surgery is no longer providing the challenge it once did. May I suggest performing it with one eye closed, while hopping on one foot? LOL le May 29, 2000

Guest guest
Dear Dr. Rutledge, Wow! That is a great surgery time. I bet that your surgery takes less time than it takes to " turn the OR around " , huh? When I used to work in the OR at Shands Hospital (Florida) it would take anywhere from 45 minutes to an hour for turn around time. (They only let us have one room though...LOL) By the way, the new picture you have posted at the clos.net site is awesome. I like the way it shows the lady on the scale and then like a dream, the picture fades and shows you performing the MGB and then the (I want to think) same lady is shown with the tape measure, measuring her success. Excellent! Still waiting patiently, Love, Tedeschi > Hi, > > Update on today's surgery schedule: > > We did 8 cases today and all were 32 minutes or less. > > The new " record " is 26 minutes and 45 seconds (someone in the room had one > of those digital watches) > > The patient with the shortest time had her sister in law come with her to > support her in the surgery. > > Her Sister-in-law is a nurse and a former OR nurse. > > She specifically told me not to rush. > > So I had to apologize to her for finishing so quickly. > > Oh well... > > Anyway at last check everyone seems to be doing fine. > > RR > > Rutledge, M.D., F.A.C.S. > The Center for Laparoscopic Obesity Surgery > 4301 Ben lin Blvd. > Durham, N.C. 27704 > Telephone #: > Fax #: > Email: DrR@c... > > ************************************************ > Please Visit our Web site: http://clos.net > ************************************************ > > Durham Regional Hospital: > > Also, Please consider joining the > Mini-Gastric Bypass Mailing List > at http://www.onelist.com > > MiniGastricBypass is a general discussion of the Mini-Gastric Bypass > ( http://www.onelist.com/community/MiniGastricBypass ) > > Talk with lots of other Pre and Post Op > patients and friends. > Keep up to date on the latest news about > the Mini-Gastric Bypass. > Re: It's a date > > > > congraulations Beth > > my name is Joy and I scheduled for June 8 > also I > > live in Nashville NC > > > > JOY > > > > ---------------------------------------------------------------------- -- > > CLICK HERE***SPECIAL OFFER***$60 in FREE calls > > ***SPECIAL OFFER***CLICK HERE > > http://click.egroups.com/1/4127/2/_/453517/_/959182310/ > > ---------------------------------------------------------------------- -- > > > > This message is from the Mini-Gastric Bypass Mailing List at Onelist.com > > Please visit our web site at http://clos.net > > Get the Patient Manual at http://clos.net/get_patient_manual.htm > > > > > >

Guest guest
Dr. R! Hi, guy! Just wanted to let you know that I'm still 300% satisfied with the MGB you did for me in mid-December, last year. I'm not one of your 32-minute miracles...but I'm still one of your miracles in terms of returning my life to me. Have a wonderful time at the conference in June and hold your head up. I suspect that with all of us praying/lifting you up in prayer, there'll be way more positive aspects from your presentation than any of us dreams possible from today's perspective. God bless you and your beautiful family, Dr. R! Dee in MI.(16Dec99)
