To those of you who say you had to go slow on honey and fruit because of your

child getting yeast:

How are you determining your child has yeast? Some kind of bloodwork or test?

Or are you going by symptoms? If a test---which one? If symptoms--what

symptoms?

Mushy stools, yellow or light colored stools, pimples on bottom, itchy anus,

sometimes all out diarrhea and in one extreme case (after an all day fruit fest

at my sister's house) a full on flare of UC that required steroids and an

antifungal.

Hi Toni,

I had a mouth swab done. I had thrush along with all sorts of other

symptoms. I also had stool cultures and bloodwork but my doc was

looking for all sorts of possibilities. Yeast was confirmed.
