Guest guest
Amy, how old is your baby? I weaned @ 11 mos and it went very easy. Call me superstitious, but I did check the almanac for the right sign/date. Since the surgery's so short you could probably express and keep your supply going. If I can be of any support please don't hesitate to let me know. na -Reynolds MGB 12/27/1999 @ 272 04/25/2000 @ 202 www.clos.net " Life is a banquet and most poor bastards are starving to death. I think it had to do with us needing all the nutrients in our system. Kind of the same reason why we can't donate blood ever again but I would strongly suggest you check it out with him. Guest guest
I did check with Dr. R, and he said I should wean prior to surgery. However, thanks to another woman on this list, I have found a woman who did continue to breast feed after open RNY surgery, with no ill effects. I think I'm ready to wean Zachary anyway (he's teething on me! Sorry guys...) but am still trying to figure out the best thing to do. I'm on travel starting this afternoon and I'll be gone about 36 hours (for business). I will pump, but I'll see how he does, and that may be the catalyst for weaning him. Thanks for the input. Blessings ~Amy. Re: Prayers Answered!!!
