Guest guest
Hi everyone, my daughter is up to 1/2 tsp. per day of goat yogurt and we are seeing some nice things but also a lot of hyperactivity, giddiness, difficulty sleeping. Did others see this? I'm assuming it's die off. Is it die off of yeast or bacteria or both? I'm really amazed that her gut could be this impaired, how long did it last for others? How long did it take to get on the yogurt at a larger amount? Thanks! Re: visicol Welcome to the list , >Hi All, I have to take Visicol as a prep for a test. The Dr.s instructions specify that I have to drink 2 12 oz. cans of ginger ale with the tablets. I have been getting a lot better on the SCD and don't want to ruin my progress because of this. Any suggestions? Anyone know if substituting something like seltzer water would produce the same results? Thanks, You can probably substitute but it would be best to contact the Doctor's office and confirm that you can substitute with the same amount of (sugar free) seltzer or something like white grape juice diluted with water/club soda etc. Let them know that commercial ginger ale makes you sick and you need a substitute. If you need a recipe for homemade ginger ale I might be able to find one for you. Sheila, SCD 58 mos, 21 yrs UC mom of , SCD 43 mos

How long did it take to get on the yogurt at a larger amount? It depends on the person. Sheila
