You're right in that there are enough trolls and troublemakers wreaking

havoc for us not to become part of the problem but at the risk of stirring

up another hornet's nest I still think you've blamed Janie for something she

had no control over.

She hadn't even been at her computer for 2 or 3 days, so it is very

conceivable that she wouldn't know all those blank messages were going out.

Ft. Bragg (where she is) got hit with a virus too and even the Onelist

person who " fixed " her problem said it was nothing she could control....she

didn't even know it was happening until one of the " oldies but goodies "

phoned her to tell her.

We're getting way too quick to judge here....Everybody take a few deep

breaths and let's lighten up a little (pun intended). As far as welcoming

her to the list.....she's been here since the first.

It was nice of you to give her suggestions on how to " fix " her problem, but

remember, not everyone is using a computer at home, some use their office

computers and if there's a weekend involved or holiday, they might NOT KNOW

anything is amiss until they get back to work or school or whatever.

Why not just chalk it up to experience and let sleeping dogs lie.....we have

too many other nay-sayers and critics for us to turn on one another.
