Guest guest
As Hallowe'en approaches, i am looking for some type of candy treat that could be sent to my son's 'nut product free' school. I've been through the archives for the past year and a bit, but can't seem to locate a recipe for honey lollipops. I am going to try the PB caramel ones, but they won't work for the school. Can anyone help me? I was hoping to be able to make coloured lollipops...my son has never had a lollipop of any kind, but is ALWAYS asking for one. Thanks everyone! Guest guest
There is a recipe for Lolly Pops in BTVC that I use for my son. It works well and is a favourite. I'm also going to try making the meringues and colouring it with some carrot juice, that has been simmered down to more of a syrup, to make it orange then putting them in cupcake holders with halloween designs on them to dry instead of the parchment paper. Not sure if it will work but it's worth a try. I'll call them Halloween Kisses since the have the appearance of a hershey kiss. Guest guest
Have you ever used the flavorings for the lollipops sold at the Digestive Wellness website? Also, where do you buy your lollipop sticks? Beth Re: Honey Lollipops?? There is a recipe for Lolly Pops in BTVC that I use for my son. It works well and is a favourite.
