baby food analysis

I posted earlier about my son liking a lot the

Beech-Nut baby food. We started SCD and for the first

couple of weeks my son's only significant meal was the

jarred sweet peas with jarred beef. I read what Elaine

wrote about commercial baby food, but still that was

our last resort food. In order make sure we sent it to

a food lab, and it came out that it has 3.8% sucrose!

Simon still had die-off, even if we were not 100%

legal and it was over just a few days ago. Since the

die-off is over, he eats more of the other SCD legal

foods, so we started cutting-back on the jarred peas.

Today we got the lab results and now I know not to

feed him peas again. Today we noticed a little bit

more of die-off (no peas for 2 days). I keep crossed

fingers.
