Once you are in practice, yogurt is very simple to make but one sure has to pay attention to it. There have been many times I have had a scorched burner bowl over the years or forgotten to remove a batch from the oven (i use a light bulb in my oven for the heat source). When things went wrong I usually tossed my yogurt as the burnt stuff didn't taste great and the overdone one no longer had the good bacteria. Spoling yogurt is like gettiung a traffic ticket. it makes you more careful in future! Carol F. SCD 5 years, burnt yogurt at least ten times ;-)
