Dates are legal, but be careful not to give him too many in one day. My son

became more constipated after too many raisins, dates and honey. SCD can

help with behaviors caused by food, yeast and other gut issues. It can help

your child to be more calm, stim less and focus more.

Welcome to the list Siraad,

> My son has autism and Iam thinking about starting the SCD. I

need help what SCD could do to help my son.

The SCD has helped many autistic children.

Some parent's reports at http://pecanbread.com/reports.html

The Autism chapter from BTVC

http://www.pecanbread.com/BTVCautismchapter.html Also much more

information at www.pecanbread.com

Here are some links to look at to get started on SCD:

From http://www.breakingtheviciouscycle.info/legal/legal_illegal_d-

n.htm

Under " dates " : " Medjool and California dates are allowed. They must

be loose and not have anything added. "

Depending on his symptoms it may be a good idea to wait awhile after

staring SCD to use dates.
