Guest guest
Dave-I usually just don't take them at all. They all make me horribly sleepy. I seem to be very sensitive to medications as well. But, a couple weeks ago, I seemed to be itching all over...my scalp, my hands, legs, etc. It seemed very odd to me. It occurred to me it might be some sort of reaction, though to what I don't know. I did take one Benadryl, and it seemed to take the edge off. I didn't take any more of the med. though, since I am so sensitive to that. After several days, it seems to have just faded away, so... I would guess, if you're not too sensitive, maybe just start with a basic Benadryl, and work from there. You'll know what you can or can't handle. Guest guest
I take the non-drowsy antihistimines (Target brand) and it helps reduce redness and swelling. I take them at night. I believe there are other members of this board that also take antihistimines and it also helps them. But again, we are all different, so some react differently.
