Guest guest
Someone mentioned Spectrum shortening. I just got it - I'm assuming it's legal - and am wondering how people use it. Can you substitute it for butter? There are a number of recipes I would try but for variousl reasons don't want to use butter for, and can't always substitute oil for. I just want to get people's feel for it before I open it - it is pretty expensive. Also Whole Foods has smoked almonds. The label reads legal but is there something inherent in the smoking process that could be a problem? Thanks and take care, Fay
