Guest guest
Thanks for the recipe, Carol. It sounds delicious. From your previous posts, it sounds like you reside in Ontario. I will be in the Toronto for 2 weeks at Christmas. Can you recommend some markets that have almond flour and other SCD legal ingredients? By the way, was that you in the picture with Jodi Bager and Lass at their book launch? If so, it's nice to put a face to the name. son 4 asd SCD 1.4 years daughter 5 --- carolfrilegh c.frilegh@...> wrote: > > > > > In grain free gourmet cookbook there's a fantastic > recipe " nutty caramels " , they are even > better than chocolate! > > Glad you like it as it was based on my recipe > below:. > > Diva's Fab Fudge > > 1 cup honey > 1/8 cup water > 1/2 teapoon vinegar > 1-1/2 tablespoons butter > 1/2 cup almond butter > crushed pecans > > Bring honey and vinegar to a boil and simmer until > it makes a soft ball in a glass of cold > water. Guest guest
This sounds great, but would it still be as good without the crused pecans? I am not sure my kids would like that in there- ?? What do you think? Has anyone tried it? Guest guest
What does it mean to boil the vinegar until it makes a soft ball when dropped into cold water? Are we supposed to drop this into cold water? If so, how do we get it out?
