aspartic acid-- asupplement additive--safe?

Hey Gang

I want to give my son " Thorne PicMins " . Dr. JM reocommends it. It has

zinc, chromium, etc. The extra ingredients are cellulose, aspartic

acid, leucin and silicon dioxide. I know the others are fine, but what

about the aspartic acid?
