Guest guest
Is she on anything to help with yeast? I knew I had yeast when I took one Candex before bedtime, and my stools looked sandy the next day (I've learned from others on this list that sandy stools is a sign of yeast die-off). I think red, itchy areas around the rectum and vagina are also signs of yeast in children (my son had redness and blisters around his rectum until he took probiotics). HTH Marilyn leaky gut, low thyroid/adrenal, SCD 8 weeks Very gassy. Is it normal? > Hi, > > My daughter has been on SCD for 10 days now. Initially, she was really > gassy and kept breaking wind. Guest guest
No, she's not on anything for yeast. Except she has been taking probiotics for a while now. We actually started her on that before she started on SCD. When she started SCD, she had greyish white stool but that only lasted one day. She doesn't have itchy rectum or vagina. > > Is she on anything to help with yeast? Guest guest
Sheila, Thanks for the reply. There has been no changes in meds/supplements but I did introduce spinach. I gave her spinach for 3 days consecutively. I have taken it out yesterday and today. > > Hi , > > Have there been any changes in what she is eating or new > meds/supplements? > > Sheila, SCD 58 mos, 21 yrs UC > mom of , SCD 43 mos > > > > > > My daughter has been on SCD for 10 days now... Guest guest
Hi , Sounds as if she isn't ready for spinach. Good call on removing it.
