Guest guest
My son is currently symptom free on SCD (other than this strange odor I've been posting about) and I know it would be nice if he could eat raw carrots, broccoli, etc. for snacks and lunches. I've been scared to try them though... he has consistently solid, perfectly formed stools with good color and the only time this is not the case is if he gets too much legal sugar (too many almond flour cookies sweetened with honey or too much fruit). Could he be ready for raw veggies? I don't want to do anything to undermine his progress but it would be nice. Oh, and if it helps, I'd have to say he's had consistently solid stools for several months. Robbie

Does he eat cooked carrot and cooked broc now, If yes, you could start with a little raw carrot or raw peeled zucchini gradually working up the amounts and different kinds of vegetables.
