,

This is a good point....and I was not aware of this happening with the

products being switched...that is just wrong!

My daughter just got scammed too, and we had to dispute two charges on

her debit card use due to internet fraud, i.e. charges being made to her

account that she had not authorized for products that she had inquired

about.

I hope you get your refund...there should not be any question about

getting refunded if you got ripped off. Your credit card company should

be taking your side.

Can you name the company you had trouble with to help warn us? Or at

least the type of product?

Thanks,

Patty

that recently I received a fraudulent product--packaged under the same

name of a product I have bought before. but inside was clearly a

different product. I contacted the manufacturer, which is when I found

out that indeed someone is using their name and similar packaging/design

and selling a different product under their name. My credit card company

is going to take a report but not willing to guarantee a refund, nor or

the company that I bought it from. They (the Internet company I bought

it from) hung up on me when I called. Hopefully I will get the refund

from the credit card company with a bit of perseverence...So point being

that maybe one has to be a bit more careful in choosing the companies we

purchase from on the Net. This is the first time I have had an

experience like this, but just something to possibly keep in mind if

buying from random companies on the Net, which is what I had done.

Hi,

I did get my refund today--actually from the company that sent the fraudelent

product. Still though, I would avoid them: It's called Smart Nutrition. Another

thing that one can do before ordering is go to the Better Business Bureau

website (bbb.org) and many companies have ratings and any filed complaints

listed.

Sorry about that issue with your daughter's ATM--sounds like something that the

bank will refund.
