Guest guest
Don't despair. A lot of us have gone through the same thing. I have got everything ready to go except my doctors referral, EKG and bloodwork. From not finding any doctor to support, it looks like I might have two possibles. I see the first one tomorrow. I will say a prayer for you. Second local Doctor > Well I had to drive 30 miles but I went to see another Doctor today > for the referral letter. Guest guest
Dave, Don't give up! I was lucky to have a PCP that is very supportive. He wrote the letter the day I went to see him and looked over the manual. We know that we have done our research and this is the best option for us to achieve optimum health and happiness, it's just convincing our Drs.!! I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers!! -- In MiniGastricBypass (AT) e, dtpemberton@b... wrote: > Well I had to drive 30 miles but I went to see another Doctor today > for the referral letter. Guest guest
Dave, at least he said he'd look at the information. My doctor was kind of riding the fence until I showed her what Dr R requires of us before we can have surgery! She said, " wow, he leaves not a stone unturned, does he? " I said, " Nope, that's what I'm counting on! " Chin up, things could be worse. If you haven't heard by the middle of next week, give him a ring and see what he thought of the procedure. Hopefully he will at least agree to run a few lab tests once a year for you. :-) fg At 10:50 PM 05/03/2000 -0000, you wrote: >Well I had to drive 30 miles but I went to see another Doctor today >for the referral letter. Guest guest
Dave, I am sorry to hear you are having such problems. I wish you lived closer to me so you could use my doctor that I finally found. I hope this new doctor will support you. Good Luck.
