Guest guest
Dear , Believe me I know what it is like to be down. I'm rarely up. I find it easy to express myself with the written word but if the truth be known I am rarely up in spirit. I feel as if I have been emotionally beaten down for a very long time. Someday if you're interested I'll tell you about it. This whole MGB process has been good for me because it has given me a cause to fight for. One where I am the benefactor. I still find it inconceivable that a morbidly obese person would have to fight so hard to take control of their own life and destiny. I have been fortunate so far because I have found the support of my family, friends and physicians and I have yet begun to fight the insurance company. I pray that I won't have to. I'm a cheerleader by nature and it makes me feel better inside to help spur someone on to claim their rightful victory. So when I give you those pep talks I'm receiving benefit from them too. But I'll be damned if I'll let someone else call the shots on my life anymore. It's just not going to happen.
