Guest guest
Martha, My son had the usual stool tests (great smokies, etc) to look for parasites, as well as a fresh stool sample test (we had to go to the lab and wait all day for him to have a bm). No parasites showed. They attach to the intestinal wall. Then we found a doctor who uses a drop of blood (maybe it's a darkfield analysis, maybe something else) and said he was full of parasites, including liver fluke. He stopped practiving, so we went to our 'complementary' physician who did an anoscopy on Eli (actually takes a swab from inside the rectum), put it under the microscope and said he had more parasites than he had ever seen in a patient. Doing muscle testing at our clinical ecologist and testing on the Electrodermal Sensory machine turned up the same parasites as the anoscopy, so I believe they are all valid methods, at least to confirm each other. Finding them was good. Eliminating them is the current problem Hope this helps. a H. Guest guest
Martha, We realized , 3 years old, had parasites because he never progressed on the diet and although we got rid of the bacteria and candida he still had diarrhea, could hardly walk, was very weak. All of the supplements gave him more diarrhea and my doctor explained that all of the supplements and new foods were feeding the parasites and not . He tested 5 months ago at Great Plains no parasites and a month ago full of them. The testing is not always accurate. I have heard of the muscle testing too and am going to look into it. Guest guest
I am concerned of the same thing. May I ask if there was any symptoms along with the d.?? such as an unusually bad odour, or tiny sand like particles?? we are still plugging along, but no real progress and the d. has resumed stronger than ever. also how do you treat parasites?? are meds involved?? thanks, karla, mom to jake, asd, sd, scd since jan 05 > >Reply-To: pecanbread >To: pecanbread >Subject: Re: Detecting Parasites >Date: Mon, 29 Aug 2005 20:09:24 -0000 > >Martha, > >We realized , 3 years old, had parasites because he never >progressed on the diet and although we got rid of the bacteria and >candida he still had diarrhea, could hardly walk, was very weak.
