Guest guest
Hi Wade, welcome to the list! I have heard about such a program when you use Ultrase, simply because the maker of Ultrase although makes Scandishakes and you'll get a certain amount of shakes for every Ultrase prescription. I haven't heard of this in connection with Creon, but if you go to www.solvay.com you might find some info. Plus Grandmom Bev, who runs the CF pharmacy, will provide you with info too. Guest guest
I have a paper at home that (I'm not at home right now) I will look for. It says you can get 12 cans of Nestle NuBasics (better than Scandishake because it has loads of vitamins and things that Scandishake does not) and 12 NuBasics bars by ordering Creon. I will email you the phone number. Peggy
Guest guest
Hi, My son was on Creon for 7 years then when we moved to Connecticut they switched him over to Ultrase so he could get the scandishakes. Creon doesn't offer any program like this also your ADEK vitamins are free with this program, for some reason our insurance wouldn't cover ADEK so that is another reason we made the switch. Talk to your doctor about switching. matthew 10 w/cf Help: Creon 20 and Free Shakes??? > Can anyone tell me how to get the free nutritional shakes I've heard > about. Guest guest
Hi Wade, I guess the accessibility of free shakes depends on the country you live in. I'm from Quebec (Canada) and with a prescription from my son's doctor, my private medical insurances pay scandishakes. Our provincial gouvernment pay for those who don't have private insurances. , mother of 13 with cf. > >Reply-To: cfparents >To: cfparents >Subject: Help: Creon 20 and Free Shakes??? >Date: Mon, 13 May 2002 00:11:37 -0000 > >Can anyone tell me how to get the free nutritional shakes I've heard >about.
