Guest guest
Hi! I'm Nana and we're new. We're making this a family affair and my job is " food sleuth " . Our 23 mo. old grandson started the traditional SCD 4 weeks ago immediately after ASD diagnosis, with the result that he began sleeping through the night again 3 days later. 2 weeks later, he went on a cheddar cheese rampage, so all dairy was removed. At the DAN conference, we discovered from other parents that there is a protocol for introducing the diet to ASD children. He is now fairly well settled, but has SCD muffins, raisins, pretty much everything in BTVC except dairy. He never had full-on diarrhea, but was always somewhat loose. He now has a variety of textures daily. Does anyone know if there would be any reason to back up and do the introductory protocol? Many thanks to all you pioneers.
