Guest guest
Hi W, I live in east Tennessee also, and I am also fairly new on the list. I live in Harrogate, about an hour and a half north of Knoxville. Where do you live? I'm so glad you have a supportive doctor. I talked to mine about it for the first time today, and it looks like he will support me, too. Welcome to the list! Guest guest
, My husband is the Theatre professor at LMU! I am 42, and I have 6 children. My husband is super supportive of the surgery, as well as everything else I do. I have Anthem Health Insurance and hope and pray that they will cover this for me. Guest guest
Sara, This is so cool! I work as an office assistant for Appalachian Upward Bound under Cherokee Economic Authority. We are at LMU one Saturday a month and will be there for 5 weeks starting June 4. I am in the central office located in town. I haven't talked to my director yet, I was waiting to see if I get insurance approval first. I think she will be very supportive or I hope so! I am so glad your husband is supportive, it really means a lot! My husband and son are both very supportive although my husband did have a few issues when the lady from Iceland passed away! I think we understand more now and he is comfortable with the procedure. Wouldn't it be great if we ended up being " littermates " ? Stay in touch! Guest guest
, When are you hoping to have the surgery? I'm hoping for July, after Dr. R gets back from vacation. Of course everything depends on other people - like insurance company people, so who knows! It would be great if we could be littermates! Sara BMI 42 (I think) W wrote: > Sara, > > This is so cool! Guest guest
Aaliyah I think we have had this fear we have come so far and the fear of baby weight I have read articles about losing weight after the baby and gastric bypass my OB told me today that the weight will fly off after the baby I am 20 weeks pregnant and gained 13 ounces and the baby is 11 ounces so not doing to bad- You will gain a baby and there is nothing more special then a child- So, the attitude I have is eat eat eat for the pregnancy and after work my butt off to get to goal-! Michele -- I'm new... Hi all I had my RNY in August 2002. I'm still 40-50 pounds from goal though. We have talked about getting pregnant again and I'm rather hesitant because of my fear of gaining weight all over again. I mean, I'm sure I will gain the baby's weight and water weight etc but I'm just scared to death to gain a bunch of it still being so far from goal. Does/Has anyone else have/had this fear? What have been your experiences? Aaliyah Children are a blessing, and a gift from the Lord. -Psalm 127:
