Hi Genz..

Oh how i only wish I could do that... The last time I sang in front of

anyone, I was in a voice class in college and had to sing in front of the

class.. I was actually quite comfortable until I opened my mouth.. then I

started shaking and my voice cracked something horrible... I even sang with

the professor in his office with him playing piano and I was fine.. but with

that many people... ACK!! I just don't have the confidence... I wouldn't

want to be famous or anything and i don't even think my voice is good enough

for it anyways but, I would love to at least be able to have some fun with

it without humiliating myself... I wish they had a voice class available

here in fayetteville.. I would join in a heartbeat... I really need to get

back into choir... We will be moving sometime in the next few months so that

my fiance will be closer to work.. Then we can get back to church and I can

join... I love music... And I love to use my voice.. and at least when i am

in a group, it don't bother me...

In my thoughts and prayers,

Terri

Theresa,

Wherever you move, check to see if there is a Sweet Adeline chorus

nearby. Having sung in the Tampa area for the last 20 years with

the Sweet Adeline chorus has provided me endless hours of

happiness. Don't think of this as an " old " group either. There are

many young people involved and, with the music education that comes

along with this hobby, you could amaze yourself very quickly. Check

it out. You could love it too.

Hi Carol...

I would love to join something like that... Unfortunately, i just

went to their website and the closest ones are in raleigh,

wilmington, and myrtle beach... Still too far away.. Maybe i will be

able to find something else.. Thanks for the info though.. :)
