I'm still looking for a kosher dijon mustard that's legal. (IIRC Trader

Joes does have a legal brand.) I just add some white wine to regular

mustard, and no one's been complaining.

But here's another question. We're supposed to use pure vanilla extract

and all the " pure " vanilla I've seen has corn syrup in it (including, of

course, the one I bought and opened before reading the label). Any brand

names or suggestions? If really necessary, I've been using almond extract

that seems legal.

Frontier makes perfect vaniila in ytwo formats, one with glycerin which is easy

to pour out

gradually and one with alcohol. Both are legal.

Orphee

And thanks also to whoever answered the yogurt question. I borrowed a

yogurt maker because my Donvier wasn't coming out consistently. I've

since been more careful with temperatures and am trying it now without

the lids so I'll know tomorrow afternoon if it works.
