Guest guest
Hi all, I'm 2 weeks post-exp. and wanted to share an experience that I had, in hopes that someone could learn from my experience. The experience I wanted to share was that I was doing great, healing along just fine - and then I did an ionic foot bath for 1 hr. (Way too long.) I did this on the 10th day after explant. About 24 hours later, I woke up in the middle of the nite with an intense detox/drug reaction. I had to be transported via ambulance to the hospital and kept overnight. The symptoms were: vertigo (room spinning), hyperventilation, slow slurred speech, unable to hold my head up, unable to lift my fingers, arms, legs, or torso. Unable to think quickly - very slow. Unable to focus my eyes, heart rate average 47 beats per minute. Very scary. And this lasted for 6 hours until it finally " wore off " . Dr. Kolb explained that the ionic foot bath had released the surgery drugs/anesthesia/toxins from my cell walls, they entered my bloodstream, and went to my brain. Felt like an almost drug-overdose. I'm so grateful to be alright, and me and my family are recovering from the trauma of it all. We are some serious pray-ers over here, and feel that I was protected and safely brought through the experience. I must share with y'all that the ionic foot bath really does detox the cell walls -- very effectively! So, little doses - like 5 minutes to start - when you first get explanted -- to make sure that you aren't releasing too much into your system, too soon. So, I hope that this is helpful for someone, and thank you all again for the prayers and well-wishes while I go thru these changes. I'm so glad to have the explant behind me! More update later, Alyssa

Guest guest
I'm not yet well enough to sauna, but when I do, I'll only do infra-red. I got my foot bath from a friend who sells them, but I know that Dr. Kolb sells them as well. Warmly, Alyssa

Guest guest
Wow, Alyssa, that is scarrier than my scorpion experience! You poor thing! This is one of those instances where " more is not necessarily better " , right? And proof that those ionic baths sure do work! I have one of those....wonder if I should use it or not....I haven't used it lately. What did they do for you at the hospital? Were you admitted? Thanks for sharing...it is definitely helpful to those trying to heal, and needing to know the good and bad about every therapy we use. I'm glad you are a family of prayer and are trusting God to guide and bring you through all things in your life. He is faithful! Wishing you healing Alyssa, God bless, Patty > > Hi all, > I'm 2 weeks post-exp. and wanted to share an experience that I had, in hopes that someone could learn from my experience. > > The experience I wanted to share was that I was doing great, healing along just fine - and then I did an ionic foot bath for 1 hr.
