OK Everyone,

Please start sending out the prayers, I finally bit the bullet

and got my patient info sent in to start on the rode for Ins. approval and I

guess for Dr. R's approval that I'm eligible for the MGB. I'm not going to

try and pretend that this doesn't scare me (that's why I've been on the fence

for so long) but, my weight is going to cause me such problems (even death)

down the road with my family history that I have to do something and this is

the procedure that I would like to have. So here I go!!!!!!!

A Little Scared, but wanting

to be on the other side,

No soda or beer? No

> drinking with meals?

Holly:

Soda and drinking with meals were 2 things that I hated giving up as

well. I drank almost a 6 pack of coke a day and naturally I drank it

with meals. It takes a few weeks but you do gradually adjust. I

know your are not suppose to but I still do drink with my meals. But

now I just take tiny little sips and save the majority of my drink

for when I am clearing and cleaning up. You really do learn to

adjust and when the weight starts coming off it is all worth it.

Good Luck!
