Guest guest
See letter below if interested. My thoughts on this post(hiding under desk) I think the letter is VERY meaningful,However I truely believe that the ORIGINAL intent(not the subsequent persons that have carried On this chain of letters) was to dupe people by playing on their sympathies and putting us on a mass mailing list.......THANKS a bunch... I hope in reading it I have Not become a part of it and further more if I had KNOWN it was a chain letter I sure would have not spend the considerable time I did in trying to figure out what I perceived as an important message about someone on the list that I truely was worried something had happened to. I dont want to flame the person who posted this. I think it is innocent enought to get caught up in this. I do NOT think our list is a forum for ANY chain letters ......Its hard to 100% stick to the subject at hand ......this however was a clear violation of what this list is about. A list with now more that 600+ members(yehaw we went over 600 this week!!!!!!!).....Hmmmmm I wonder how the potential 6000+ others that could or may get this forwarded letter feel about getting yet another internet hoax. Lets all put an end to this and IGNORE these types of letters. I do " web only " monitoring and specifically scan for what I think is important. So I spend my limited time wisely on the net. This is the only list I do and I find the group a great support> If others feel differently AT least label it for what it IS and dont play on my emotions to get me to read it......(I am too easy.......) LOLThis is the letter: > >> > > > > > >> > > >> > > > > > Around the corner I have a friend, > >> > > > > > In this great city that has no end, > >> > > > > > Yet the days go by and weeks rush on, > >> > > > > > And before I know it, a year is gone. > >> > > > > > And I never see my old friends face, > >> > > > > > For life is a swift and terrible race, > >> > > > > > He knows I like him just as well, > >> > > > > > As in the days when I rang his bell. > >> > > > > > And he rang mine if, we were younger then, > >> > > > > > And now we are busy, tired men. > >> > > > > > Tired of playing a foolish game, > >> > > > > > Tired of trying to make a name. > >> > > > > > " Tommorow " I say " I will call on Jim " > >> > > > > > " Just to show that I'm thinking of him. Guest guest
: I too received this. I am soooo superstitious it just about scared me to death. I believe some people have nothing else's to do but torment others. I wish people were not so cruel. Trying to ignor it is hard but we must try to so that we can continue on our mission. God Bless You Dear One! {{{{{HUGS}}}}} in Michigan
